Gandalf the Grey is an immortal being commonly known in Middle-earth as a Wizard, who takes the form of a noble, robust old man with a long grey beard. His kind demeanor, and his love of Hobbit-kind, disguises his immense power. He wields the Elven Ring Narya, given to him by Círdan the Shipwright in days of old, and the fierce sword Glamdring, forged in the First Age. Gandalf is able to command powerful forces, known to some creatures of Middle-earth as magic. He can also unleash melee attacks with Glamdring, and has a high capacity to resist Ability attacks.
