Uruk-hai like Uglúk are fearsome creatures that are larger and stronger than their normal Orc brethren. Created using some form of fell sorcery, and used extensively by Saruman in his evil armies, they are bred for only one thing – to kill and destroy, whether it be each other or the good creatures of Middle-earth. Uglúk is a true Uruk-hai who hungers for a good fight, willing to throw himself quickly into a melee after fortifying himself with foul Orcish draughts of unnatural strength and effect. His brutality has been recognized even by his master, for Uglúk leads a band of cruel Orcs.
